    For Further Education students studying for NVQ’s and National Diplomas, an assessment provides evidence for the awarding of any special examination arrangements.
 
    For Higher Education students, an assessment produces written evidence that will allow the student to apply for Disabled Student Allowance (DSA), currently worth £4000.
